Who we are
STS Express Inc (“STS Express”, “we”) is a trucking company, USDOT 3591417, MC-1216616, located at 722 S 13th Ave, Clinton, IA 52732. This policy explains what information we collect on www.stsexpressinc.com, how we use it and the choices you have. Questions: anatoli@stsexpressinc.com or +1 (424) 302-9980.
What we collect
We only collect what you send us:
- Quick application (drivers): first and last name, phone number, if you add it, your email address, and whether you ticked the optional box allowing calls and texts that include our AI assistant.
- Contact form (shippers and brokers): your name, phone number, optional email address and your message.
- Conversations with our AI assistant: the recording and transcript of a call or browser conversation with Emma, a short summary of it and, if you give it, the phone number you ask us to call back.
- Full DOT application (the “full DOT application” link): this form is operated by Peeledlab and asks for the information required by 49 CFR §391.21. How that information is handled is described in the Peeledlab privacy policy.
We do not buy information about you from anyone.
How we use it
We use your details to call or text you back about your request — to talk about driving jobs with STS Express or to quote your freight — and to keep basic records of our hiring and business. By sending a form you agree that STS Express may call or text you about that request. If you no longer want calls or texts, tell us by phone or email and we will stop. You can also reply STOP to any of our text messages. Message and data rates may apply. Except for the optional Peeledlab box described below, we do not share your phone number or your consent to receive texts with third parties for their own marketing. We never sell or rent your personal information.
AI assistant and call recording
Emma is an AI assistant, not a person. She answers drivers’ questions about working at STS Express, in English, by phone at +1 (331) 261-4649 and, if you choose “Talk in browser”, through your browser’s microphone. If you tick the optional box in the quick application, she may also call you about that application. She says at the start of every conversation that it is recorded. If you do not want to be recorded, hang up or close the conversation and call our recruiter at +1 (424) 302-9980 instead.
We record and transcribe these conversations so our recruiters can follow up on your request and so we can check and improve what Emma says. The browser uses the microphone only while a conversation is running and only after you allow it. We do not use recordings to create voiceprints or to identify you by your voice. You can ask Emma or us at any time to stop calling you, and you can always ask to speak with a human recruiter.
Optional job alerts from Peeledlab
The quick application has a separate box, unchecked by default: “Tell me about other driving jobs”. Only if you tick it, Peeledlab — the company that operates the forms on this site — may email, text or call you about driving jobs with other carriers. This consent is separate from your application to STS Express and is not required to apply. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hello@peeledlab.com.
Who else sees it
A few service providers process data on our behalf, each receiving only what it needs:
- Peeledlab operates the forms on this site, the AI assistant Emma and the hiring software that delivers your request to our recruiters.
- ElevenLabs provides the voice technology for Emma: it processes the audio of the conversation and stores its recording and transcript for us.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and runs Turnstile, a check that the forms are sent by a person and not a bot.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
Links to our Facebook and Instagram pages take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Do Not Track
Your browser may send a “Do Not Track” signal. This site does not track you across other websites, so it does not change how it works in response to that signal, and we do not allow third parties to collect information about your activity across websites through this site.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and conversation recordings and transcripts as long as we need them to handle your request and for basic business records. Ask us and we will delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Write to anatoli@stsexpressinc.com. This site is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
